story of a sweater

This is the story of one sweater vest worn three ways. I bought this sweater at a local department store called Bealls. Truth be known, my town is so small this is our only department store (which sometimes makes it tough for shopping 'cause you could wind up at a function wearing the same thing as the lady standing next to you). But as soon as I saw it, I had a fashion vision of it being worn in multiple ways, so with me it went.

Sweater: Bealls. Shirt: Target (2 years ago). Leggings: Walmart. Shoes: TJ Maxx.

Sweater: Bealls. Shirt: Bealls. Jeans: Matchstick J.Crew. Boots: Jessica Simpson (2 years ago).

Sweater: Bealls. Top: Banana Republic (8 years ago). Pants: Gap. Boots: Target (2 years ago).

[Ahem, so this is my foray into outfit posts. Honestly, I'm not sure how often these posts can occur. For one, it's quite difficult to find somebody to take a decent picture of me. There's only one really good friend I trust behind the lens and it takes some coordination to get our schedules in sync. By the way, thank you, dear friend! Secondly, wow, I applaud you fashion bloggers 'cause this was so not easy. Yes, I've taken pictures of me alone before, but man, did I feel so awkward trying my best to appear "natural" in these photos. I'm hoping this will get easier with time. Please tell me it does. Either way, I will do my best to bring these posts from time to time, because I know I really appreciate seeing how real women dress and I'm sure a few of you do too.]
