I like everything about these shorts. The color, the length, the tweed! And I like everything about Chloe's style. She makes everything work and she has impeccable taste. How do I know? Besides posting outfit posts, she's also kind enough to post a daily list of deals, as well as offering her suggestions (with direct links) on what she would buy from the retailer and her picks are always the best.
Example: Thanks to her, I found these lovely pair of shorts at Express
4 1/2" NOTCH BACK COTTON SATEEN SHORTS
4 1/2" PIPED WAISTBAND SHORTS
They also come in safer, neutral colors, but what I love about these (besides the color) is the length. I wouldn't have to feel like quite the street walker, yet I would also not feel like I borrowed a pair from my mom.
So thank you, Chloe. Keep your deals of the day coming, along with those great suggestions.

amazing shorts :))
ReplyDeleteLOL @ " I wouldn't have to feel like quite the street walker, yet I would also not feel like I borrowed a pair from my mom." Thx for posting this, love that Chloe. After years of capris, I'm excited to get back into shorts again!
ReplyDelete(Aw, bevy! ::big hug:: Thx for commenting on my post yesterday. I think you hit the nail right on the head. I was 32 when I had Quinn & was so used to my really comfy life for so long which I think made it harder to adjust to motherhood. I'm so sorry you didn't have the support from your SO during that time--I wish I could've been there for you!
You are also SO onto something w/ your Type A personality theory. It hadn't crossed my mind but it makes so much sense. Somehow your theory makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone & wired weirdly. =]
You're so welcome and hugs right back at you, even though I'm kind of an awkward hugger. I would usually try to stop myself from sharing those kind of stories for fear people thought I was ungrateful for my child or the chance to be a mother, but at the same time I feel it should be said so other struggling moms don't feel like they're bad people or going through it alone. Us moms have to stick together!
